About us
INTOUCH PLANNING Ltd is a long established town planning consultancy covering all aspects of the planning process. We are Chartered Members of the Royal Town Planning Institute.
We are dedicated to providing the highest standards of client care and high quality professional advice. We have established our client base and portfolio of projects through personal referrals, recommendation, and repeat business. We therefore recognise the importance of continuing to provide value for money, dedicated service, and results to our clients.
Our Team
The Directors are Chartered members of the Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI), the largest professional planning body in the world. An independent consultancy offering a professional, common sense and individual service in Town and Country Planning for all its clients, whether developers or private individuals.
The two Directors have 40 years experience between them in the planning industry. We pride ourselves on our professional skills, our relationship with our clients and our forthright and honest approach to projects. We keep ourselves up-to-date on the ever changing planning process and can advise on all planning matters.
Planning services we provide
Planning applications
Submission and full handling of all types of applications, including householder, all scales of residential development, changes of use, commercial, mixed use, agricultural, rural building conversions, conservation and listed building consents, advertisements and renewable energy.
Certificates of Lawfulness
We undertake applications for Certificates of Lawfulness, for works or uses that are either Permitted Development, or have become lawful through the passge of time. We collate the required evidence and prepare the application to demonstrate such uses or operational development are lawful.
Planning appeals
Planning permission refused? We offer a FREE initial consultation for planning appeals. Contact us and see how we can help. We undertake planning appeals, with preparation of the Grounds of Appeal, submission to the Planning Inspectorate and full handling of the appeal process.
Planning conditions
Once planning permission is granted, often further details and reports are required for approval. We source and liaise with technical consultants for reports, such as transport, structural, ecology, landscaping, archaeological, acoustic, land contamination, heritage and arboriculture.
House extensions
Advice on extensions and ancillary outbuilding potential. We work with architects for the design stage and then handle the full planning process for your property expansion and improvement plans! From garden rooms and single storey extensions, to large extensions, replacement dwellings and maximising potential.
Development site appraisals
We provide thorough and realistic development site appraisals, as a key tool to inform your investment decisions, saving you time and expense in the process. We not only appraise your development proposals but also potential alternatives for the site.
Pre-application advice submissions
We prepare and handle pre-application schemes to the Local Authority, working with your appointed architect, to gain the Authority's views before taking further to a full planning application process.
